BRAD BULLOCH
Brad Bulloch a Pillar of the Sisters Volleyball Family. Brad moved to Sisters in
1995 with wife Linda, and immediately became an integral part of the Sisters
volleyball community. Brad started as an assistant coach for the 1995-96 SHS
team led by coach Mary Flande. In 1996, Brad assisted coach Rod Jones with a
team that went on to win the first state volleyball championship for SHS. From
1997-2000, Brad was head coach going to the state tournament each year and
being named coach of the year twice. Brad then assisted coach Chris Crosby from
2001 through 2005, and continued as a mainstay coach through the 2015-2016
season. He was an invaluable assistant to coach Miki McFadden from 2012-2014,
helping the team to another state title in 2014. The team was second at state in
2015, and then won another state championship in 2016 under coach Rod Jones.
Brad retired after the 2016 volleyball season, having helped SHS win five state
championships as head coach and assistant coach over a 21-year reign. Besides
being an outstanding coach, Brad has been a stellar supporter of all things
“Sisters,” helping many students from middle school through college. He cares
deeply about the students and encourages everyone he meets generally while
wearing his trademark hats. He has been a fixture at Sisters school events, and
remains a vocal supporter. Brad has always put the interests of the students first
and foremost, and has helped innumerable students reach their fullest potential
athletically, academically, and as community leaders.
